About the Job
The Manager I, Vendor Relations, will oversee the vendor relations team that is responsible for supporting Locumsmart's vendor partners, ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products and services, helping them meet the needs of the clients in the healthcare industry. This position will handle a high volume where excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. This role contributes to a positive culture that fosters continuous improvement. This role will report to the Director of Implementation & Vendor Relations.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and development of the Vendor Relations team while maintaining hands-on knowledge of their work flow.
- Responsible for the overall vendor experience, resulting in a favorable Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Facilitates resolution of client & vendor disputes.
- Continuously identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to ensure the highest level of client, vendor & Locumsmart satisfaction & success.
- Develop strategic and consultative partnerships at vendor leadership levels: this includes creating and executing on overall account strategy & vendor development plans.
- Maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends in designated markets to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively communicate and advocate for the vendors and make recommendations to the organization on how to grow their business and improve their services to stay competitive.
- Supports the compliance & collections teams with at risk accounts and escalates as needed until resolved.
- Works closely with senior leadership to support organizational goals, negotiate contracts and resolve escalations.
Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills with servant leader attributes.
- Independently able to lead both internal & external crucial conversations.
- Ability to be client facing on a consistent basis; this includes presenting in person to internal & external executive teams.
- Ability to travel for at least 2 nights, about 5 times per year for client visits; in addition to representing the company at industry conferences.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (ex. Google Docs) and Microsoft Office Suite (ex. Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-4 years of account management, education, and/or customer service.
- Will consider an associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Will consider a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, locums and/or vendor management preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance preferred.
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $91,100 -- $247,200 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
