- As an Azure/Fabric Data Engineer/Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and analytics solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric platforms. Your role will involve working with large datasets, designing ETL processes, and implementing data integration solutions to ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, implement data warehouses, and deliver insights through advanced analytics and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement data integration solutions across multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
- Develop and maintain scalable data storage solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and databases using Azure services.
- Build and optimize data models for performance, reliability, and analytics use cases.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights through advanced data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and privacy are adhered to throughout the data lifecycle.
- Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality data is available for reporting and analytics.
- Explore and implement machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions in collaboration with data science teams.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices in Azure and cloud-based data engineering and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- ***Candidates should have DP-600 certification
- Proven experience in data engineering and analytics on Azure cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud data architecture, data governance, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics using Azure Machine Learning or similar platforms.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in data engineering.
