About the Job
We are seeking a talented and experienced Microsoft D365 Business Analyst with expertise in the financial modules to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
The Business Analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, identify opportunities for process improvements, and translate them into functional specifications for configuration and customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, document and analyze business processes and requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing system configuration does not meet business needs.
- Design and document Dynamics 365 solutions that meet business requirements.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules to support business processes.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
- Coordinate with IT and business team members to ensure successful implementation and integration of Dynamics 365 solutions.
Key Skills:
- Strong functional knowledge in finance (General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, deferred revenue, multiple company management, multiple currency management, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience in system testing, training, and support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules (Commerce, F&O, SCM, WMS), Purchasing processes (Procure to Payment), EDI.
- Be proficient in requirements gathering, business analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Possess a strong understanding of business processes and how they can be optimized with Dynamics 365.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Inventory and Manufacturing Costing and Accounting an asset
- Strong understanding of accounting procedures, terminology, & standard practices
