Overview: Our client is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Developer for a HYBRID position based out of Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- ITIL experience: foundational knowledge and experience following Change Management and Service Management methodology.
- Experience with web applications, basic web design.
- Working knowledge of database/data modeling principles for application design.
- Proficiency configuring, customizing, and managing Dataverse:
- Tables, columns, keys, and relationships
- Forms, views, search, app site map, charts, and dashboards
- Dataflows, calculated / roll up fields, and business rules
- Background processes, real time workflows, and business process flows
- Professional experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies (specifically: Power Apps - Model Driven, Power Apps - Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate - Cloud flows, Power BI Desktop & Publishing to Online, Power Query, AI Builder).
- General knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform.
- Experience performing Solution upgrades between environments, including best practices.
- Familiarity of Active Directory and basic security protocols.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret helpdesk tickets and emails.
- Expertise with Power Platform environment management:
- Security Roles, Column Security Profiles, Teams, Users, and Business Units
- Environment settings, environment variables, working with the audit log
- Backup and restore, duplicating, and resource management
- SharePoint document management integration
- Expertise exporting/importing Power Pages sites between environments.
- Proficiency with scripting languages and formats, such as PowerShell, JavaScript, Liquid Code, Fluent UI, HTML/CSS, JSON, and XML.
- UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Azure B2B.
Requirements:
- 5 Years Professional experience developing in 4 or more of the Power Platform technologies.
- 5 Years Experience with web applications, basic web design.
- 3 Years Working knowledge of database/data modeling principles for application design.
- 3 Years Creating complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
- 3 Years Proficiency configuring, customizing, and managing Dataverse.
- 3 Years Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform licensing, the API limits, and throttling limitations within Power Platform.
- 3 Years ITIL experience: foundational knowledge and experience following Change Management and Service Management methodology.
