Microsoft SQL Server SSIS Developer - The Squires Group

Our direct client of more than 20 years is a prestigious Federal Integrator who provides a pioneering vision to the Federal Government through bold ideas and outcomes by accelerating digital process automation. They have a contract opportunity for a REMOTE Microsoft SQL Server SSIS Developer to support a Federal Agency based in Washington, DC.  As a Microsoft SQL Server SSIS Developer, you will craft, configure, test and debug data migration and conversion efforts, reporting, and integration development.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders and be able to pass the client’s background requirements.

• Understand the requirements and translate those into technical design
• Assist Leads in the process of developing data conversion strategies and methodologies for implementation, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Provide inputs and effort estimates to the Lead during the process of conversion/report/integration scope definition, priorities, and timelines based on project requirements and stakeholder input

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience with the following:
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Data Mapping and Transformation
  • IBM Cognos Reporting
  • PL/SQL development and support
• Excellent communication and business relationship skills
• Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders and be able to pass the client’s background requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Power Plan application support experience
• Experience with Application maintenance project in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

Competitive salary range of $120K-$140K, based on experience, qualifications, location, licensure, and certifications.  The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
