Genesis10 is seeking a Microsoft Teams Phone Specialist for a contract with our client in Minneapolis, MN. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Phone Specialist to support our transition to Microsoft Teams voice platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telephony service delivery, Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms, and experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the migration to Microsoft Teams Voice, including configuration, troubleshooting, and end-to-end design.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand, define, and document business requirements.
- Develop comprehensive telecommunications solutions to meet user needs and business goals.
- Prepare detailed specifications, flowcharts, and Visio designs to outline telephony solution implementations.
- Maintain telephony-related hardware, software, and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance.
- Monitor, track, and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues, proactively identifying potential failure points.
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Teams Phone migrations.
- Strong experience with CCaaS platforms such as Five9, NICE, Genesys, or Cisco.
- In-depth understanding of telephony service delivery, including the rationale behind technology choices and implementation.
- Proven ability to design, manage, and troubleshoot dial plans, call flows, and vectors in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Legacy phone system migration to Microsoft Teams Voice.
- TDM, IP-PBX, and VM/UM integrations.
- PRI, Digital, Analog, VOIP, IP Telephony, POE, H323, and SIP (station and trunking).
- PSTN connectivity, ISP provisioning, and management.
- Proficiency in deploying Microsoft Teams in large enterprise settings, including QOS/COS traffic shaping, bandwidth management, packet capture, and analysis for IP voice troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with number porting processes and requirements.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $40.00-$58.00
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
