Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning and Instruction:

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

  • Employ a variety of instructional techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.

  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction.

  • Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Classroom Management:

  • Establish and maintain a positive, orderly, and engaging classroom environment.

  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior.

  • Address and resolve conflicts or disciplinary issues promptly and fairly.

  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

• Student Assessment and Progress:

  • Evaluate student performance through a variety of assessments and provide timely feedback.

  • Track and document student progress and growth.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.

  • Adjust teaching methods based on student performance and feedback.

• Professional Development:

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices and share resources.

  • Reflect on teaching practices and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Extracurricular Involvement:

  • Support and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and student organizations.

  • Foster a sense of community and school spirit among students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.

• Valid teaching certification/license in the state.

• Proven experience in a middle school teaching role is preferred.

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced educational environment.
