Hiring Manager Notes:

• “App”was built as a website as a PWA (Progressive Web App)
• The build is in Typescript, Node.Js, and a few other things
• The features today are simple in nature, blending what you would normally see in Facebook + Ebay
  • Able to post things, comment on posts, react to posts or comments
  • Able to sell things in auction or fixed price

 

Current Problem/Issue:

• PWA working with push notifications working on MacOS, Windows OS, and Android mobile devices;however, unable to receive notifications on an iOS device regardless of browser.
  • This PWA needs to be a fully functional mobile app that’s compatible with Android and iOS –currently not compatible with iOS.
• Looking for a Developer who knows how to write in this language, familiar with PWA applications, and understands push notification nuance.

 

Position overview:

Immediate need for a Senior Mobile Application Developer. Qualifications include:

 

• Strong TypeScript & Node.Js development skills
• Web & Mobile App Development (iOS and Android)
• Familiar with PWA applications
• Strong understanding of push notifications for apps working on MacOS, Windows OS, and Android mobile devices
• Must be creative, agile with excellent problem solving skills & a high sense of urgency
• Excellent communication skills
