LEHIGH & NORTHAMPTON COUNTY - Medically qualified examiners to obtain medical histories, take vitals, collect urine specimens, and have 2 plus years of current excellent phlebotomy skills to include hand sticks if necessary. EKG experience is a plus, we provide EKG machines and centrifuges. The position is for PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS and requires examiners to see insurance applicants at their homes or businesses. We also draw blood for Specialty Blood Accounts which can be for clinical trials or other medically related purposes. IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN EXAMINER WHO IS BILINUAL IN SPANISH

We are recruiting examiners who "MUST" reside in Lehigh or Northampton County and can cover the following cities. Examiners must be willing to cover a 20-mile radius from their home for appointments, therefore we need examiners in the following cities: Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Schnecksville, Slatington, Emmaus, Coopersburg, Bath, Nazareth, and other nearby towns.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IC POSITION:
- Examiners must have a reliable car and be flexible for some morning, afternoon, early evening, and Saturday morning appointments. Sunday appts. are strictly optional. We have immediate openings for examiners for afternoons, early evenings, and Saturdays.
- You provide us a schedule of availability and we assign zip codes to you for assignment purposes.
- You can receive Schedule Now appts, within your area and other new orders that you will call and schedule on your own.
- You call and confirm all appointments.
- Must have a computer with internet access and a printer/scanner.
- You are an Independent Contractor, working out of your home, and receive a 1099 at year-end for the services you complete.
- We do not withhold any taxes from your checks.
- Paid on a "Fee Per Case" basis twice a month plus Travel Bonuses as dictated by areas beyond a 30-mile round trip to see one client at one address.
Fees start at $25.00 and go up to $50.00 depending on the required service. Extra incentives are paid to examiners who are willing to cover a larger territory and have more flexibility, or who want to make this a more part-time position, for additional assignments. Apple iPads are provided to examiners, at no charge, who choose to cover a larger territory and can provide 20 hours or more per week of availability including a Saturday. Not a requirement for the position, only an option.
Optional: Examiners can also be considered for Health and Wellness Events if they meet the criteria for availability and necessary experience and qualifications. These events involve Venipunctures, Fingersticks, and Biometrics. Examiners are paid differently for wellness events as compared to doing insurance exams. All wellness events are paid hourly which starts at $25.00/hour. Events can also be outside of Lehigh & Northampton County, mileage is paid for areas over 30 miles. This position is separate from doing insurance exam services and is NOT required of any mobile insurance examiner.
Interviews and orientations are held at our Allentown office. Examiners must pass a background check and urine drug test. Centrifuge, EKG machine if applicable, Blood and Urine kits, and Apple iPad if applicable, are supplied to the examiners with a security deposit of $50.00 which is refunded upon termination of their contract if all is returned in good working condition.
