SPANISH SPEAKING MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST/MEDICAL ASSISTANT - PER DIEM INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION

JOB DETAILS:
- The candidate/Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, collecting urine, EKG, and medical history
- Must be willing to travel to the client's location for appointments
- Paid per appointment/service, this isn't an hourly or salary-paid position (Fee range $25.00-$50.00 per case)
- Paid twice a month and no taxes taken out
- Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment. Will bonus over 30 miles for a single round trip to a single address at .65/mile.
- Need some weekday availability, am and pm, and some Saturday morning availability is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples mentioned above as required (20-mile radius)
- Accurately labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, documentation of health histories
- Maintaining accurate client records, which includes detailing any medical issues experienced by clients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of the test results
- Must view orders in the portal and call clients to schedule in a timely manner
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must Pass a Urine Drug Screen & Background Check
- Proven Experienced Phlebotomist
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPPA/PHI law
- Detailed-oriented/sound organization skills
- Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and penmanship
- Reliable transportation
- Must be computer proficient, have internet access, and a printer/scanner
- Must supply own BP cuffs (reg. & large). Stethoscope, a scale that goes to 400 lbs., clipboard, metal tape measure, and centrifuge if possible. ExamOne supplies EKG machine. ExamOne will also provide an Apple iPad if territory and examiner availability warrants an ipad.
