Our Award-Winning Client is a distinguished provider with a nationwide presence and a history of excellence. They are seeking a talented X-Ray Technologist to deliver mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes. This role involves operating and processing X-Rays using portable digital radiography systems, handling EKGs, and maintaining professional interactions with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment, and submit results to a Radiologist for evaluation.
- Set up and transport portable X-Ray equipment to facilities to perform exams as per physician instructions.
- Conduct EKGs as needed and transmit findings to a Cardiologist for review.
- Scan and manage exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily in line with protocol.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and management, ensuring smooth operations.
- Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients, maintaining effective communication.
- Uphold the condition of the vehicle and X-Ray equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained.

- 4 X 10s: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Qualifications
- Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in any of the following areas:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- Radiology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in any of the following:
- Echocardiogram (Echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Valid driver’s license in the applicable state, in good standing.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption documentation.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in any of the following areas:
Technical Skills and Certifications
- Proficient in using portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Experience with EKG and echocardiogram procedures.
- ARRT certification in X-Ray required; CT and/or MRI certification or registry eligibility preferred within 3 months.
- Maintain necessary State licenses and ARRT certification, along with meeting health and operational requirements.

Additional Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment professionally, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Transport and handle equipment with care while driving to various locations.
- Perform special projects or additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Physical Demands
- Radiologic Technologists may need to push/pull equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. Equipment handling may involve up to 16-24 instances of moving or applying force daily.
