Note Team Specialist
Duration - 6 Months, Contract, W-2, M-F (7am - 4pm)
Location - Onsite in San Diego, CA
Pay - $20/hr
POSITION SUMMARY
The Note Team Specialist I plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of activities related to the company's Investor Fulfillment functions. Assists with the overall operation of the Note process to ensure adherence with procedures and guidelines.
* Received and open incoming USPS, UPS and FedEx mail addressed to "Final Docs - Notes".
* Create manila folders for all daily received notes (not limited to writing loan numbers, borrowers last names and warehouse bank codes on manila folders).
* Identify any issues with the original note(s) while opening mail and advise Note Team Supervisor.
* Properly identify 1st lien notes vs 2nd lien notes received.
* Building warehouse bank packages for all note in accordance to warehouse guidelines.
* Build FedEx boxes daily that will be used to ship notes their respective warehouse banks.
* Sort and file notes in accordance to the warehouse they will be shipped to
* Review and Audit notes received that have not funded daily
Qualifications
* High school graduation or equivalent, along with 1+ year (s) total related mortgage experience required.
* Proficient MS Word, Excel and windows software; Ability to effective use email, word processing, desktop, electric typewriter, ten- key calculator, photo copiers.
* Processing/intaking collateral
* Data entry
* Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to receive and act on detailed information through various communication methods: face to face verbal, telephone, email and printed material.
* Ability to understand Federal, State, Investor and regulatory agency material.
