Mortgage Escrow Specialist; Warsaw, IN - Lake City Bank

As a Mortgage Escrow Specialist, you will: - Identify and implement solutions for clients who experience large escrow shortages, assist clients with insurance changes, filing tax exemptions, and private mortgage insurance questions and cancellation requests

- Monitor loans secured by real estate for flood insurance and issues force-placed policies as needed

- Prepare escrow analysis for loans secured by real estate in accordance with RESPA; analyzes escrow reports, verifies items escrowed, notifies customer of payment changes, calculates payment changes if deficiencies exist

- Researches and verifies all escrowed taxes; ensures prompt payment of property taxes on escrowed loans

Basic Qualifications Include: - High school diploma or equivalentrequired - Ability to be accurate with detail work while meeting daily deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel - Basic accounting knowledge - Previous mortgage processing experience preferred Hours: - Monday-Friday: 8:00-5:00 Lake City Bank is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace
