Job description:
Responsible for interviewing, underwriting, approving, and closing mortgage loans. Responsible for increasing the Credit Union's portfolio of mortgages initiated through relationships with internal and external retail businesses. Establishes and maintains lending channels and promotes the Credit Union's mortgage services and other financial services among networks. Responsible for identifying areas where existing credit union programs can be improved or enhanced. Ensures proper training is implemented for both internal and external partners
Qualifications:
Three to five years similar or related experience.
Previous relevant experience preferred.
Strong organizational and managerial skills.
Required knowledge:
Knowledge of secondary market and experience with first and second mortgage lending.
Working knowledge of regulations affecting lending and lending products.
Knowledge of mortgage lending practices.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..
