About the Job
We are seeking a Mortgage Servicing Specialist for the Home Loan Services Department.
This role is the first line of interaction in Servicing new and existing home loans, investor loans, and new loan program initiatives. The Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly servicing and investor reporting is completed timely, accurate, and delivered to the appropriate stakeholders. Individuals are required to perform tasks in which policy, procedures, and protocols are established. This position sources, compiles, and interprets key loan information while utilizing a variety of value-added reports. Also responsible for loan onboarding, security of loan files and documents, member experience through various touch points, and follow-up. When issues arise, the individual must use good judgment to identify what is wrong and apply the established remedies and acquired knowledge to solve the problem. The ability to problem solve is inherent in the position and if the problem cannot be resolved by using the above methods, the individual must seek direction from leadership.

Highlights:
- Ensure monthly reconciliations, quarterly call reporting, and billings are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensure the completion of new loan onboarding and quality control to compare system information with loan documentation
- Coordinate and address any issues and concerns that affect the reporting and balancing of investor data or other areas of accountability
- Responsible for processing loan servicing system changes for due dates, loan modifications, automatic payment changes, and setup
- Assist in special projects as assigned by management
Experience:
Required
- 1 Year residential servicing and /or lending experience required
Preferred
- 1 Year of insurance-related experience required
- General knowledge of RESPA, Truth in Lending, SCRA, and Escrow guidelines
Education:
Required
- High School diploma or equivalent
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
- Computer skills include MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Possess a service-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae servicing guidelines
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
