We are looking for someone who is passionate and energetic, with strong understanding of the Harley Davidson and Metric bike market, and experience in the Aftermarket distribution, to work closely with our North American customers, as:
Motorsports Sales Manager, Retail Motorcycle
The Role
The Motorsports Sales Manager, Retail Motorcycle will drive revenue growth and increase market share within the motorsports industry by managing sales strategies, fostering customer relationships and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Effective management of the commercial team, whilst maximizing opportunities, turnover and profitability of existing and new accounts in the Motorsports environment.
- Carry out strategic formulation for future business development.
- Engage and lead with Marketing initiatives and strategies.
- Assist in budget development and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain pricing and application files.
- Be the customer voice at Goodridge.
- Oversee organic growth.
- NBO and new customers added to the Portfolio.
- Provide exceptional customer service levels to gain customer confidence.
- Become the fluid transfer "problem solver" for all levels of race teams.
- Develop technical partnerships with chassis and engine builders.
- Work with website sales contacts to ensure opportunities are maximized.
- Ensure effective system, procedure, end user and internal documentation is maintained effectively.
Qualification - Education/Experience
- The ideal candidate will be professional both internally and externally; constantly striving to improve efficiencies within the commercial department.
- Has vast knowledge and understanding of the Harley Davidson and Metric bike market.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role within a Aftermarket distribution company.
- Knowledge of Fluid Transfer systems would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of managing customer accounts in an automotive environment.
- Excellent standards of communication, initiative and relations with all other departments are achieved.
- Ability to understand and then carries out plans and objectives agreed with their unit Manager.
- A satisfactory performance is reached to maximize work output.
- Always working towards scoring above and beyond customer expectations internally and externally.
- The professional standards set out by the company are practiced at all times.
- Reporting to be legible and illuminating, professional and data driven.
- Have a keen attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong continuous improvement background
- Ability to prepare and generate reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Understands ISO Standards and importance of quality production standards.
- Successful market related work experience as important as a Bachelor’s Degree.
