We have an incredible opportunity with our client who is seeking a MuleSoft Architect. The Senior Salesforce Developer will be responsible for design, architecture and platform development of our assets on Salesforce as well as MuleSoft.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $75 - $80 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Salesforce solutions with custom objects, workflows, triggers, and integrations with MuleSoft for seamless data exchange.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of AnyPoint Community Manager (ACM) to manage the API ecosystem and create a developer portal for external partners and internal teams.
• Develop robust APEX classes, controllers, and triggers while ensuring scalable, reusable code.
• Build and customize Lightning Web Components (LWC) to enhance the user interface and improve performance across Salesforce apps.
• Create and manage REST API callouts to integrate external systems with Salesforce and facilitate real-time data exchange.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integration points using MuleSoft for APIs, system-level integration, and complex data transformation.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate Salesforce deployments and ensure seamless development across multiple environments.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Apply best practices in security, performance, and scalability to all Salesforce applications.
• Mentor and support junior developers, providing guidance on technical design and best practices.
Experience Requirements:
• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, including expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft (API-led connectivity, AnyPoint Platform, MuleSoft API design) and integrating it with Salesforce.
• Proficiency with AnyPoint Community Manager (ACM), including the setup and management of developer portals and API ecosystems.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP API integration, including OAuth 2.0 and other authentication methods.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, using tools like Jenkins, Git, SFDX, Copado, or other Salesforce DevOps solutions.
• Solid knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, Governor Limits, and platform best practices.
• Experience with Salesforce security models, including sharing rules, profiles, and roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of debugging and unit testing within Salesforce.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, MuleSoft Certified Developer, or Salesforce Application Architect, are a plus.
• Prior software engineering experience with Java/J2EE or Python
• Telecommunications industry experience is preferred
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
