The ideal candidate should have expertise in analyzing, designing, documenting, and optimizing clinical workflows, and ensuring that healthcare applications meet end-user needs.
In this role, the Business Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of clinical healthcare applications (EHR/EMR) across 80 locations over the span of one year, ensuring timely and efficient rollouts at each site.

In this role, the Business Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the implementation of clinical healthcare applications (EHR/EMR) across 80 locations over the span of one year, ensuring timely and efficient rollouts at each site.
Key Responsibilities :
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis : Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and stakeholders to identify business needs, system requirements, and objectives for the implementation of healthcare applications across 80 locations within one year.
- Clinical Workflow Analysis : Analyze and document current clinical workflows, identify gaps or areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care through technology at each location.
- Application Implementation Support : Provide support throughout the lifecycle of the clinical application implementation, including assisting with system configuration, integration, testing, and go-live support for each location.
- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and training materials, ensuring consistency across all locations.
- Change Management : Assist with change management activities, ensuring smooth transitions for clinical teams and supporting them in adapting to new systems and workflows as they are rolled out to 80 locations over 12 months.
- Training & User Support : Support the development and delivery of end-user training materials for each location, providing ongoing support to clinicians and administrative staff post-implementation.
- Testing & Quality Assurance : Assist with the development of testing plans, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshoot issues, ensuring that applications meet the defined requirements and function optimally across all sites.
- Stakeholder Communication : Act as a liaison between clinical staff, IT, and project management teams, ensuring that the goals for each location's rollout are clearly communicated and met within the defined timeline.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare, supporting clinical application implementations.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale rollouts or implementations, preferably with multiple clinical locations.
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare operations, including electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems and other clinical software.
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, workflow analysis, and documentation for healthcare projects.
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple locations simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with clinical healthcare applications such as Qualifacts/CareLogic
- Experience in business process re-engineering and performance improvement initiatives in healthcare settings.
