About The Position
**Job Title:** RN-Neonatal ICU-Nights **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night (7 PM - 7 AM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours required; direct patient care experience preferred. **License:** RN - Single State or Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) **Must-Have:** - BLS Certification - NRP Certification - RN Licensure **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based patient-centered care considering population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery for cultural diversity. - Partner with patients and significant others in care, maintaining communication and focusing on patient goals. - Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation. - Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, and fiscal responsibility, supporting the recruitment and retention of healthcare team members. - Support performance improvement, research, and shared governance. - Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, mandatory and population-specific education. - Serve as a preceptor and mentor, promoting a qualified workforce and a healthy work environment. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, upholding health care policies and accreditation requirements. - Plan for patient care across the care continuum, developing protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes. - Support the efficient use of human and material resources. - Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct. - Perform other duties as assigned. - Work includes three weekend shifts in a four-week schedule, and two major and two minor holidays are required.
