About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab work.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Manage and monitor patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmias.
- Educate patients and families on preventative care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and educational activities.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in Nursing (for NP) or a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Current NP or PA license in [Insert State].
