NP/PA Pediatric Neurosurgery Opportunity in Greenville, NC - ECU Health

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurosurgery and Spine Center - Greenville are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification to join their growing practice located in Greenville, North Carolina. ECU Health Neurosurgery and Spine Center consists of 11 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers. The successful candidate will work with an experienced pediatric neurosurgeon and have inpatient, outpatient, and first assist responsibilities. Candidates with pediatric experience are preferred.

Nationally recognized by Becker’s Healthcare as a top 100 program for neurosurgery ECU Health’s Neuroscience Program uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide a range of services to include diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders. The hospital has specialty-trained staff in nursing, neurology, general neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, vascular and endovascular neurosurgery, complex spine surgery, neuroradiology (including 24/7 in-house neuroradiology coverage), neuro-critical care and neuro-oncology. • Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities will include first assist with attending surgeon, inpatient rounds, placing ventricular drains, pulling surgical drains, and seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Established neuroscience team of 11 neurosurgeons, including 2 dual-trained cerebrovascular neurosurgeons, an interventional neurologist, inpatient stroke neurologists, 4 neurointensivists, neurologists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants
• Children’s hospital medical staff includes Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pediatric General Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, and Pediatric Plastic Surgery
• Large 29-county referral network
• Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
