Summary:
Seeking a candidate with strong project management skills, efficient communication, and an engineering background to help our team decompose and manage test station development and bring-up. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of Project Management experience in consumer electronics along with software testing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in build planning and core team meetings.
- Validate servers and manage Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Track test maturity and stations.
- Maintain, review, and approve all Test Design Lead (TDL)-owned station BOMs.
- Update/release test flows and maintain station/station IDs.
- Set up, review, and audit syscfg and FDR keys.
- Conduct daily dry-run meetings, issue triage, and follow-up with station DRIs.
- Remotely support builds and participate in regular build meetings with on-site client teams and Contract Manufacturers (CM).
- Set up and maintain CM accounts/access.
- Drive engineer firmware (FW) releases with CM and onsite teams.
- Release bundles/overlays for factory validation.
- Reproduce issues in the lab and facilitate TDL station setup.
- Manage client hardware team allocation
Requirements/Skills:
- 2-7 years of experience as a Program Manager or Systems Validation Engineer.
- 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance testing
- Familiarity with system architecture and software/hardware interactions.
- Leadership experience, proactive, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting to management, summarizing high-level details concisely.
- Proficiency in GitHub
- Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Background in test engineering, including test for manufacturing, bench validation, and characterization.
- Ability to develop Python and/or C++ scripts to test new features
- Knowledge of basic computer architecture, peripherals and interfaces, operating systems, and firmware.
- Experience with consumer devices.
- Embedded knowledge and understanding of SOC, PCB, and board-level components.
- Preferable experience with SWIFT and NPI (New Product Introduction) hardware development.
Location: Cupertino, CA (Hybrid, Tuesdays - Thursdays Onsite)
Duration: Fulltime
Salary: 140K-160k (DOE)
