Job Description:
As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing Manager you will be leading technical sourcing and supplier relationship management for our newest, groundbreaking products.
With a technical understanding, you'll help deliver the NPI program as Core Team member, and be accountable for the sourcing of technical components, subsystems, and systems from our Preferred Supplier List ( PSL), making the relevant engagements wit cross-functional teams to deliver for NPI projects across HPE Aruba Networking.
As we look to deliver new technology to help our customers, we have embedded a strategic sourcing approach within HPE Global Strategic Sourcing ( GSS) team. As a part of this, you'll be impacting the achievement of business objectives including technology and product improvements, and problem resolutions. Working with Engineering, Program Management and Strategic Sourcing teams, you'll influence suppliers and are confident in negotiations ensuring quality and timely delivery. Taking ownership - supporting, leading, and handling the early engagement of key suppliers. Leading NPI project cost target, identifying and mitigating cost and schedule risks during development and ensuring a smooth transition towards volume manufacturing. Work closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers to align sourcing activities and objectives to the commodity strategies, and drive business leverage and early supplier engagement in new product development.
Job Requirements:
- Strategic Sourcing Focal Point in the Core team for the NPI programs assigned.
- Ensure supplier compliance and alignment to HPE Metrics in Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, Cost, Geo-diversification, BCP, Cybersecurity amongst others.
- Influencing the early stages of our product lifecycle, prepare and agree sourcing package - NDAs, DA (Development Agreement), RFQs, SOWs, PAs, etc, and ensure supplier development in place during development phase.
- Load Purchase Orders to Critical Component Supplier at pre-Execution Commit (EC) phase for the assigned NPI programs.
- Accountable for Materials List Review (MLR) process in the Contract Manufacturer (CM) engagement model
- Accountable for Component Level Classification for the assigned NPI programs.
- Accountable for Component Level Cost and Schedule impact to the assigned NPI programs.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in a technical engineering field, supply chain management or equivalent experience
- Shown experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry.
- Implement sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies.
- Validated experience with engineering or product development, as well as experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain required.
- Experience in NPI and project management is a must.
- Domestic and international travel is required (15% to 20%)

Annual Salary: $98,000.00 - $225,500.00
