National Accounts Representative - OS - OmniSource

Procure scrap metal from industrial generators. Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships. This position is located in Nashville, TN.

• Manage relationships with existing customers
• Maximize margin opportunities with existing accounts
• Identify and develop opportunities with new customers
• Procure scrap metal from industrial generators from multiple locations throughout the United States.
• Resolve internal and external customer service issues.
• Complete administrative work on a timely basis

• Strong communication skills to successfully interact with clients and management
• Working knowledge of scrap pricing, material identification, costs, operations, and transportation
• Ability to generate leads, qualify leads, and close deals
• Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Outstanding people skills and the ability to interact with others
• Ability to work and make decisions independently, yet be a team player
• Abilty to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once
• Good organization and time management skills
• Bachelor degree in related field required
• Occational travel required
