Leaders are Born Not Made – Our Client is a Leader in the Outdoor / Rugged/ Military Apparel and Footware Industry Looking to Hire - a professional sales leader with experience in apparel, footware and/or tactical gear. • Develop and leads the strategic growth plan related to all wholesale consumer touchpoints within all markets, domestic and international. • High energy leader who will lead the sales team from the front, with a hands on, team oriented and servant leadership approach. • Hires and performance manage all sales team members, focused on new and organic growth performance. • Manages outside, 3rd party sales agencies as necessary to achieve corporate revenue goals. • Expertise in selling footwear and/or apparel into specialty channels of distribution (independent retail), Army/Navy locations, major multi-door retailers. • Experience in developing strategy and managing international markets to help expand the global reach of the Rothco brand. • Prioritizes market penetration with a focus on ease of entry and maximization of resources and revenue achievement. • Establishes operating budgets for the sales department, including but not limited to defining targeted retailers and the strategy to drive new and organic growth. • Works collaboratively with Ecommerce leadership to develop a cohesive and focused go-to marklet plan, placing the brand and key product assortment from and forward with customers and consumers. • Manages 3-P sellers on all selling portals, including assortment planning, pricing policies and maintains the integrity of all proprietary product data. • Partners with corporate finance related to budgets, spending, discounts and lines of credit. • A key thought leader, providing input into product expansion within existing channels of distribution and new distribution opportunities. • Member of the executive leadership team (ELT). Expected to partner with peers and prepare timely updates for the Board of Directors. Required Attributes 1. Hands on leader who is willing to roll up their sleeves, as necessary to drive revenue 2.
