SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Navigation GPS Logistics Coordinator, Lead to manage GPNTS, NAVSSI, and NTSS Government Furnished Property (GFP) which includes receiving assets upon arrival, installing barcodes, packaging assets for shipments, and acquiring shipping/procurement quotes. Periodically perform GFP inventory inspections. Develop and submit monthly inventory tracking reports.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Coordinate and perform logistics activities related to the physical delivery of enterprise-wide logistics support that includes, but is not limited to supply, maintenance, and facilities management.
· Establish location and quantity control.
· Establish and maintain hard copy and electronic property record files and production status database records.
· Oversee federal stock system research programs to establish manufacturer, part number, national stock number, etc.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Six (6) + years of experience in logistical tracking, reporting, record keeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property to include:
o Supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility
o Financial management
o Logistics support for projects involving electronic/electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources.
· Five (5) + years supporting government property requirements and/or defense life-cycle material management.
· Understanding of DoD inventory management systems and techniques.
