Job Title: Netcracker Configuration and Implementation Specialist
Location: Ottawa, ON
Job Overview: The Netcracker Configuration and Implementation Specialist will play a key role in the configuration, support, and implementation of Netcracker tools and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with Netcracker software, and a proven track record in delivering successful implementations and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration: Configure Netcracker tools and systems to meet the specific needs of our clients, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Implementation: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Netcracker solutions, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
- Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for Netcracker tools, addressing any issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to ensure successful delivery of Netcracker projects.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration changes, implementation processes, and support procedures.
- Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the functionality and efficiency of Netcracker solutions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to end-users and other team members on the effective use of Netcracker tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with Netcracker tool configuration, support, and implementation.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Netcracker systems, telecommunications software, and network management tools.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience managing or contributing to technology implementation projects, with an understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with additional BSS/OSS systems.
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages relevant to Netcracker environments.
