CTG is seeking a mid-level Network Administrator to work onsite in Manhattan, NYC.
Location: New York, NY
Duration: Long term contract with possible conversion
Duties:
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance and reliability.
- Manage network configurations and ensure operational consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce network security protocols and access controls.
- Ensure high availability through redundancy and failover strategies.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure needs.
- Document network changes, policies, and procedures.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS and Cisco NX.
- Experience with Fortigate Firewall.
- Familiarity with NetBrain.
- Strong knowledge of network routing.
- Expertise in on-premises environment management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration.
- Proven track record in maintaining network integrity and resilience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
