Network Connectivity Solutions Engineer - Grand Rapids MI - Applied Innovation

Applied Innovation is seeking a Network Connectivity Solutions Engineer to manage and implement solution projects in the realm of print and scanning with the Connectivity Solutions Department. This is an excellent role for a service focused individual who is interested in software projects and installations as well as developing solution workflows to help our clients with printing and scanning.

Solutions Engineer Responsibilities/Objectives

• Remotely configure and install print/scan workflow software on customer networks.
• Lead a variety of projects with multiple stakeholders and hard deadlines
• Resolve customer support tickets remotely
• Keep up with technical trends in the industry. Be innovative!
• Provide our customers with Fast, Friendly, and Amazing service.

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, industry certifications Network or Azure certified, or equivalent work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle for seldom client onsite work.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to schedule and meet project deadlines
• Ability to provide end-user support (via phone, e-mail, face-to-face, remote software) to resolve technical challenges.

• Windows OS Server/Desktop and Mac OS X.
• General knowledge of industry standard protocols such as SMTP, TCP/IP, SMB etc.
• Wireless networking.
