Network Engineer - Venteon

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a CCNP (or ability to get certified quickly) to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking protocols, troubleshooting skills, and experience with network security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Perform network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to develop and execute network strategies that support business objectives.
• Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement necessary upgrades.
• Manage network security protocols and policies to protect sensitive data and prevent breaches.
• Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to networking.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications:

• CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) is required.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Cisco networking equipment and software.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with network security practices and technologies (e.g., VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
