Lawrenceville, GAHybridJob DescriptionUnder broad supervision, combines strong technical skills withknowledge of network administration. Provides technical support to developmentteam members. Work on one or more projects of high complexity within areas ofexpertise.• Collaborate with the Network Team and Department Director to ensurenetwork security and connectivity.• Provide end-user support for Tier-1 andTier-2 level network issues based on business priorities.• Assist indeploying/maintaining core switches/routers.• Deploy, maintain, and managetelephone system: SIP (session initiation protocol) , PRI (primary rateinterface), and VoIP (voice over internet protocol).• Maintain host name serversand their IP addresses which include DNS (domain named service) and DHCP(dynamic host configuration protocol).• Maintain VLAN and IP address schemas.•Ensure proxy authentication through NPS (network policy service) and Radius.•Resolve escalations on an array of end-user telephony issues, and wireless andwired networking problems.• Configure/deploy/troubleshoot WAPs (wireless accesspoints) and their controllers and management systems.• Be on-call 24x7 in caseof emergency network issues and to handle any outages relating to thenetwork/telephony.• Manage day-to-day administration of Campus Switches,Routers, and Firewall and their supporting applications.• Document completedprojects and tasks.• Insure efficiency, security, reliability, usability, andscalability of network equipment through proactive monitoring and automation.•Research and make recommendations to improve networking and telecommunicationsstandards and processes.• Maintain VoIP Call Center, hunt groups, and callrouting.• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues with littleintervention from others or documentation.• Other duties asassigned.Qualifications:• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience.•Ten years of experience working with IP networks and supporting systems.•Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto Global Protect VPN and Cisco VPNincluding remote implementation,troubleshooting, and problem resolution (orequivalent experience with similar hardware/software).
