Compensation:
- 1st Year Average: $67,000 (Base Salary $55,000 + $10,000-$12,000 Annual bonus + Benefits)
Position Overview: The online payments industry is rapidly expanding, and Easy Pay Direct is at the forefront of this growth. We’re seeking driven sales professionals to join our team and grow with us during this exciting period.
Role Responsibilities: As a New Client Specialist, you will be essential in qualifying leads and providing initial onboarding for new business owners. Your role involves guiding clients through the application process, addressing objections, and ensuring that all necessary documents are collected for a complete application to be assigned to our sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inbound Sales Development:
- Respond to prospective merchants you are alerted of within 3 minutes of their initial submission to create urgency.
- Follow up diligently through various channels—texts, emails, calls, messengers, and DMs—to ensure engagement and application completion.
- Address objections effectively and expedite the application process.
- Utilize inquiries as opportunities to identify client needs and offer relevant services.
- Leverage our internal qualification criteria to qualify and generate new opportunities for sales.
Onboarding Specialist:
- Set clear expectations for the client experience, including opportunities for the upselling of value-added services.
- Assist merchants and entrepreneurs with our online application process and manage the Easy Pay Direct onboarding journey, handling objections as they arise.
- Collect and verify key initial documents, secure digital signatures, and submit applications to our underwriting teams.
- Collaborate with our Certified Payment Specialist (Sales) to deliver a premium experience for VIP clients.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in the CRM system (Hubspot); document all interactions and progress.
Support and Activities:
- Engage in active learning through training and mentoring to improve personal effectiveness, ongoing self-development as well as that of the NCS team and the company.
- Participate in delivering training and providing constructive input to peers.
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of sales, the NCS group, and the company, including providing feedback on SOPs and supporting initiatives to improve closure rates.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 1 year of B2B sales development experience (experience in Software/High Tech is a plus).
- Commitment to continuous learning and growth.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and adjust engagement strategies as needed.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and technological proficiency, with the capability to handle documents and data across various platforms.
- Initiative and creativity in achieving goals, with adaptability to a dynamic environment.
- Comfort with both inbound and outbound calling.
