The Zaxby's Support Center is looking for a New Store Opening Specialist to join the Brand Marketing team. The New Store Opening Marketing Specialist is the marketing lead that leads the creation of all plans that drive successful store openings at Zaxbys. They act as the Company authority on all critical aspects of marketing that help to open a successful new location. This person has some marketing knowledge and is an astute collaborator and project manager that can juggle multiple projects, people and moving deadlines all at once.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA and allows for a hybrid work schedule that includes 3 in-office days per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

NEW STORE OPENINGS

• Provide strategic brief for development and presentation of all new store openings marketing plan recommendations
• Lead the development and execution of all marketing elements of every New Store Opening at Zaxby's to ensure they are executed with excellence
• Travel to new and/or emerging markets to compile a trade area analysis to help identify marketing and media opportunities in these markets.
• Conduct competitive analysis of trade area/market to inform the brief to all teams designing plans for the store opening.
• Continuously drive new process and or tactics to enhance the companies approach to new store openings
• Collaborate across internal teams to align on recommendations for each new store plan
• Collaborate with agency(s) and internal teams to provide insights for new store locations post-opening
• Run internal tools to outline insights into each new store location including trade radius, competitors, local businesses, etc.

• Strong leadership skills to drive recommendations and best in class work
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Fundamental understanding of marketing principles and tactics including but not limited to advertising, media, PR, POP, social media, digital marketing, CRM, and creative production.
• Experience in creating new store opening marketing plans
• Strong analytical skills with ability to organize collected data, analyze information, synthesize findings into conclusions and lead with recommended solutions
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills in in all meeting situations
• Excellent problem-solving skills required in addition to agility since opening dates move frequently
• Ability to influence and build consensus within the corporate organization and among licensees.
• Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
• Represent Zaxby's with professionalism
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

• Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience: 2+ years of similar or related marketing experience; restaurant/QSR preferred
