Job Title: Nightlife Security Guard
Job Summary:
The Nightlife Security Guard is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at Bond Cocktail Lounge, an exclusive venue opening in November 2024. You will manage crowd control, check IDs, monitor guest behavior, and handle any security-related issues that arise during the lounge’s operating hours. As part of the opening team, you will play a key role in maintaining a high-end, enjoyable atmosphere for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain order and ensure guest safety within and around the lounge.
- Monitor guest behavior and de-escalate conflicts or security issues.
- Verify guest IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Control guest entry and manage any capacity restrictions.
- Conduct routine security checks of the venue and surrounding areas.
- Assist with crowd control, especially during peak hours or special events.
- Collaborate with management and staff to handle emergencies or disturbances.
- Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations related to safety and security.
- Provide assistance to guests and staff when necessary.
Experience: Previous experience in nightlife security, event security, or related fields is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and manage crowd control.
- Licenses/Certifications: Security or crowd control certification (if required by local regulations).
Work Environment:
This role involves evening and weekend shifts, including holidays. The Nightlife Security Guard must be comfortable working in a high-energy, upscale environment.
