Position Summary | The Division of Cardiology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a ClinicalResearch Nurse Coordinator who plans, develops, and oversees the day-to-dayclinical activities for clinical trials and/or other medical research programsin accordance with the research parameters established by the investigator.Develops and administers operating procedures for the project, coordinatesproject funding and day-to-day interactions with associated departments andagencies, and oversees patient recruitment, education, andadministration. Coordinates implementation and execution of study protocol, andoversees all aspects of the provision of patient care to participants, incompliance with protocol requirements. Works closely with visionary andinspiring physicians. The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressivedepartment with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide qualitywork in an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation,training, and education. Through our collaborative work effort, we support thefaculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health SciencesCenter and University. |

Minimum Qualifications | Associate's degree in Nursing; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Certification/Licensure: State of New Mexico Licensed Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the multistate privilege to practice compact with New Mexico. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
