Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified - Dr Arenia C Mallory Community Health Center Inc

Dr. Arenia C. Mallory Community Health Center, Inc. (Mallory CHC) is currently accepting applications for the NURSE PRACTITIONER position. The Nurse Practitioner will work as part of the medical provider team providing medical services to the patients of the Community Health Center. The Nurse Practitioner will provide health care services consistent with his/her education, and in keeping with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act; assist in the planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery according to the health care plan and written protocols; and provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within the context of a multidisciplinary team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:

• Proven nursing experience / Minimum Three Years of Experiences in Field and/or a Health-Related Agency or Facility.
• In-depth knowledge of hospital/clinical procedures and QI/QAs of patient care
• Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare
• Willingness to keep abreast of changing standards in nursing
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
• Great communication and people skills
• Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
• Aptitude in problem-solving
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program AND current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure
• Current Nurse Practitioner certification in specialty area
• Current AANP certification
• Provider Life Support (BLS) Certification is Required
• Background Check Is Required
• TB Skin AND Drug Test Is Required
• Must Be Able AND Willing to Travel, if needed
