Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Envision Physician Services - ANES

Envision Physician Services is currently seeking an FNP for a full-time opportunity at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, FL!

Anesthesiology Preop APNPs will bring additional support to our anesthesia team and Preadmission testing (PAT) nursing staff and collaborate with the anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise and comprehensive knowledge of anesthesiology, preoperative assessment, and patient management will be crucial in optimizing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest quality of care.

Highlights of this opportunity include:

• Anesthesia Care team is comprised of 18 Physicians and 36 APP's
• Case mix includes general, Ortho, OB, GYN, Neuro, Regional, Thoracic, ENT, Oncologic Surgery and GI. No Peds, Hearts or Trauma
• Annual case volume: 14,000; 3,500 deliveries
• 14 ORs, 2 C-section rooms, 3 GI suites, Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Suite

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in an anesthesiology or perioperative setting. Experience in preoperative assessment and patient management is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of anesthesiology principles, procedures, and techniques.
• Proficient in preoperative assessment, risk assessment, and patient management.
