Job Title: Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Hospitalist
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Portland, Oregon. This hospitalist role focuses on rounding on patients in an acute care facility, providing high-quality patient care in collaboration with our medical team. Key Responsibilities:

• Round on patients in an acute care facility, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnosis, treatments, and health maintenance.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and coordinate discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Respond to emergent situations and assist in the stabilization and management of patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Oregon.
• Board Certification as an NP in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Acute Care.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of hospitalist or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to manage patients independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:
