Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant
Intercept Health is now hiring for a full-time Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant to start in January 2022. New graduates are encouraged to apply! This role is hybrid and based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

As a full-time Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for performing initial and follow up medication management assessments for clients who suffer from Psychiatric and/or Addictive symptoms. The Physician Assistant shall recommend and prescribe psychiatric and detox medications, when appropriate to clients through Tele Services and/or through direct face to face contact in an outpatient setting. The Physician Assistant should be comfortable with the patient population, function independently with minimal supervision by the Psychiatric and Buprenorphine waivered Physician.
The selected candidate will possess abachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; be a licensed physician assistant with current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificationand Buprenorphine waiver; and have clinical experience with psychiatric and substance use populations.
