About the Job
Our providers play a pivotal role in _Covenant_ Care’s healthcare team and in the care for our patients. Our PAs, as primary care providers, are often the first person whom a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. As part of a medical team in one of our four locations in Clarksville, Dover and Erin, Tennessee, you will help us provide compassionate and quality primary care.
*Duties:*
* Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
* Managing patients with chronic conditions
* Ordering and interpreting lab tests
* Performing minor surgical procedures
* Performing physical examinations
* Prescribing medication
* Providing patient education
*Required education:*
* Completion of all pertinent degrees and certifications
* Continuing Medical Education (CME) to keep certifications
