What you will do:
The Nursing Assistant Class Instructor (NACI) is responsible for the education, training and growth of enrolled students. This position develops and coordinates validation of the competencies and proficiency of knowledge for all students for each class to ensure successful completion of courses and tests. Promotes excellence of proper care and treatment of residents/patients that meets or exceeds the company's expectations for a result of a smooth transition into the role of a Nursing Assistant. Responsible for mentoring and identifying training needs while providing support to all students. Additionally, there is a mentoring component to ensure training assimilation and support. Adheres to federal and state regulations, and follows all company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Plans, conducts, monitors and tracks training to meet the state's training requirements.
- Coordinates and participates in the educational needs of the facility and/or multi-facilities with the oversight of the Program Director.
- Plans, schedules and implements lessons for each class (per state requirements) under the direction and oversight of the Program Director.
- Coordinates, implements and maintains organized student files/records for all students in each class.
- Recruits and markets students as requested.
- Attends state mandatory meetings.
- Maintains mandatory credentials per state and federal regulations.
- Prepares supplementary education materials as required.
- Assists in tracking, evaluating, and measuring the impact of training programs and learning activities on students..
- Treats all residents/patients, visitors and staff with courtesy.
- Attends and participates in in-service training, Quality Performance Improvement ("QPI") committees and other meetings as scheduled and directed.
- Continuously communicates with the Program Director, Executive Director, DON and other team members.

As required by state and local law, Olympic View Care provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Olympic View Care expects to pay for roles they may be hired in Washington, as stated below:
