Position Summary:

As the Nurse Manager of Labor & Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the patient experience and fostering a culture of excellence within the unit. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient staffing. Your leadership will inspire and empower your team, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Masterfully manage daily procedures, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Staffing: Maintain adequate staffing levels across all departments within your purview.
• Productivity & Quality: Champion productivity while ensuring the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively address concerns, including quality assurance and patient feedback.
• Staff Development: Play a key role in selecting, developing, and supporting your team.
• Compliance: Uphold hospital policies while fostering a culture of innovation and adaptation.
• Financial Management: Implement cost-effective practices and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including Title 22 and the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare, business, public administration, management, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated experience in Labor & Delivery, and a minimum of 1 year of healthcare supervisory experience.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Current and valid Arizona RN licensure.
