We are seeking dedicated Nurse Managers to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and asmay be required by the DON or Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing the clinical care of residents by assigning different tasks to nurses within the department ensuringnursingcareisprovidedthroughassessment,implementation,andevaluationoftheplanofcare.

Nurse Supervisors must have the following:
· NursingDegreeordiplomafromanaccreditedCollegeorUniversity.
· PossessacurrentlicensetopracticeintheStateasaRegisteredNurse.
· 2+yearsofsupervisoryexperiencepreferred.
· Long-TermCareandMDSexperiencepreferred.
· Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills.
· Stronginterpersonalandteamdevelopmentskills.
· Graciousandwelcomingpersonalityforcustomerserviceinteraction.

As a skilled, compassionate Nurse Supervisor, you will:
· Makesfrequentroundstonoteresident/patientconditionsandtoensurenursingpersonnelare performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
· Givesandreceivesthenursingreportuponreportinginandendingshiftdutyhours.
· Ensures assigned work area (i.e. nurse station, med. Cart, medication room, etc.), resident/patientcareroomsandtreatmentareasaremaintainedinacleanandsanitarymanner.
· Ensuresmedicationroomsandmedicationcartsarelockedaccordingtoregulation.
· Monitorssuppliesandordersasneeded.
· AttendsregularlyconductedstaffmeetingsasscheduledbytheDirectorofNursing/Unit Manager.
·
