About the Job
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED equivalent. Medical terminology is preferred. Ideally, candidates will have two years of experience in a medical office, call center, customer service, or clerical setting.
The candidate should demonstrate general computer skills, including basic internet knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and good keyboarding abilities. Experience with multi-line phone systems and standard office equipment is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with professional telephone etiquette, exceptional organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is important.
Candidates should demonstrate creativity and forward-thinking when faced with challenges. A professional appearance and adherence to the clinic/facility dress code are expected, as is the willingness to work at other locations as needed.
