Occupational Therapist-FT- Peds Setting - Carolina Therapy Services

FT JOB SUMMARY The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy to patients who require restoration of physical and mental functioning in order to gain independence in self-care and other activities. May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides. QUALIFICATIONS Certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapy school. Licensed by the state in which the Occupational Therapist resides or practices, if state requires, and has received certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).   QUALIFICATIONS Certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapy school. Preferably two years of clinical experience (if applicable). QUALIFICATIONS • Certified as a CNA in North Carolina • Physically able to transfer and lift resident • Ability to work with others • Complete training session with rehab to possess knowledge of Splinting, Ambulation, Feeding, and Range Of Motion RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform Restorative Nursing Programs as ordered by Therapy or Nursing Department • Complete all weights upon admission and as ordered • Maintain weight records • Maintain all required restorative records • Attend weight and rehab meetings • Report any resident problems to the Director of the Restorative Nursing Program • Keep restraints and splints in working order and notify the Director of the Restorative Nursing Program of replacement needs • Maintain restorative area in neat and orderly manner • Attend any required training session • Assist with weekly restraint audit • Other duties as deemed necessary by the Directors of the Restorative Nursing Program For more information please call 910-892-0027 or email your resume recruit@carolinatherapy.net.
