Requirements:
• Valid and active Occupational Therapy State license
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross (with AED).
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities and their surroundings to identify limitations and set goals.
• Create customized treatment plans collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Apply diverse therapeutic methods to improve patients' daily life skills and independence.
• Provide guidance on adaptive tools and assistive devices.
• Instruct and practice daily living activities to enhance patient skills.
• Educate patients and families on independence and condition management strategies.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for comprehensive care.
• Maintain precise patient records, including evaluations and progress notes.
• Aid patients in returning to their communities and workplaces smoothly.
• Keep current with occupational therapy advancements and engage in professional development.
