Firebird AST is seeking an onsite and TS/SCI with CI Poly cleared Offensive Cyber Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a U.S. Government client. This is for a pending contract. Contract award is anticipated early 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize in-depth knowledge and ability to design, develop, integrate, assess, document, coordinate, and manage projects to achieve cyber systems requirements and capabilities across their lifecycle.
- Prepare and review engineering and programmatic documents, such as: Systems Engineering Plan, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, Information Support Plan, Program Protection Plan, Materiel Release Package, and Cybersecurity Strategy.
- Participate in technical reviews based on the adaptive acquisition framework pathway, including events leading to the review, and events after the review, such as: Product Increment Planning, Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Production Readiness Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and Physical Configuration Audit.
- Participate in weekly/bi-weekly integrated product teams, sprint reviews, and working groups by offering subject matter expertise.
- Review all systems engineering documentation in preparation for Milestone Decision Reviews.
REQUIRED
- Active TS/SCI clearance CI Poly
- Specialized training and bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity with 10 years of experience, or 14 years’ experience in lieu of degree
- Cyber operations experience
- An in-depth understanding of cyber threats
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers
- Experience using cyber tools
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc.
- Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s).
- Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission.
- Ability to identify and solve problems.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity
CLEARANCE
- Active DoD Top Secret with ability to obtain CI Polygraph
