About the Job
As the Office Administrative Clerk for Plastipak, you will work in our fast-paced Global Business and Technology Center in Plymouth, MI. In this role, you will coordinate various administrative tasks regarding employee data within the Payroll and Benefits Departments. Additional duties include executing mass mailings, maintaining employee records, data entry, assisting with customer requests, and completing special projects as needed.
You Will:
- Retrieve, date-stamp, and distribute incoming mail for the Payroll and Benefits Departments
- Track Payroll and Benefits Department supplies inventory and ensure materials are available and organized
- Process, sort, and distribute paperwork and requests from employees, off-site locations, vendors, and service providers
- Contact locations regarding missing paperwork and forward returned mail to locations
- Distributes incoming and processes outgoing mail including sending out direct deposit statements
- Maintain employee records and records storage area including filing
- Enter payroll and benefits data into the SAP
- Complete benefits reporting, auditing, and mailings
You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Office management experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office experience. SAP experience a plus
- Experience with office equipment including folders, inserters, mail meters, telephones, and copiers/printers/scanner
- Must be able to lift at least 25-30 lbs. and push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Position requires lifting above the head, standing for extended periods, reaching, bending, and kneeling
