About the Job
Are you a customer-oriented administrative professional seeking a new opportunity? In this Office Assistant role, you will be the liaison with the sales department, assisting with costing new orders and documentation through the purchase order process.
Responsibilities include:
- Effective and timely communication with vendors and sales team
- Accurately managing the order process including all documentation management
- Running costs for orders and following them from start to finish
Purchasing Office Assistant requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel and Access preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
- Previous work experience supporting a purchasing department is a strong plus
- Strong Work Ethic
This is a full time, temp-to-hire role onsite in Greater Springfield, MA area. Pay rate is $20.00-$21.00/hour depending on experience.
