Our accounting coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Co-operative. As a member of our accounting team, you'll handle a variety of tasks, from accounts receivable and payable to maintaining our membership records, while contributing to our mission of excellence and community service.

What You'll Do:

• Perform Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Member Records duties.
• Assist with HR tasks including communicating, filling, and onboarding
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and promptly
• Handle phone calls and in-person reception for an office.
• Distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain and organize files and office supplies.
• Crosstrain in various HR and accounting tasks

What We're Looking For:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365. spreadsheets, and databases.
• Ability to speak clear English
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to sit for long periods in an office environment and lift 50 lbs.

Additional Details

The Office Assistant is a part-time position requiring 28 hours per week in an office environment and availability on Thursdays.

Wage: $16/hour
